ElectraPay Pilot Phase and the Progress Behind

After months of preparations and many hours of hard work, we are proud to share that the time has finally arrived for us to start the pilot phase of our flagship product, ElectraPay!

During this stage, we have outlined a specific process, carefully tailored
to ensure ElectraPay operates as anticipated as we follow the timeline summarized below.

For the past year and a half, many hours of work went into bringing ElectraPay into existence. Not only were desktop and mobile wallets released, our developers tirelessly worked on creating the ElectraPay MVP and our first gateway plugin for WordPress Stores using woocommerce.

Over the past two weeks, we have been in contact with several stores that have had to be placed on hold, due to the fact that they use a different gateway plugin. Rest assured that our developers are hard at work on completing additional popular plugins such as Shopify and others as we plan to bring these stores on board as soon as possible.

We would also to note that as the holiday season is over, our team is back to work on the ElectraPay management portal, preparing guides, API document uploads, website improvements, and a variety of other vital features.

How will the pilot phase work?

Step 1: In the upcoming days, we will “open the doors” to the official Electra Store, which will run on ElectraPay.

Step 2: Integrate selected merchants.

Step 3: Release an exclusive partnership and the integration of this specific merchant. The owner of this store is a fervent supporter and holder of Electra and has complete confidence in the Project, which has prompted this business to offer specific advantages to those using Electra. We will share more on this in due time; however, we should note that it is hard for us to contain our excitement over this announcement.

Step 4: The pilot phase will end, and we will release the ElectraPay, making it available for all merchants.

As you have more than likely noticed from the recent releases, the team is extremely focused on the quality of all aspects of Electra. Due to this, we are hesitant to announce a specific deadline for the testing of ElectraPay. Several dependencies could affect this, such as communication with 3rd party stores, addressing bugs and improvements, API connection to exchanges, etc.

As we move forward, we will include more and more merchants to join in the pilot phase. As for the reason that this is a controlled pilot phase, it is due to the fact that we want to be able to react to issues that need to be addressed quickly. We also want to assure that security is a top priority for the Electra team. This is the main reason why we have chosen to start the pilot with our merchant website first.

So you might be asking, is the public release the end of future developments? Never! It means that it will be time to start the next development phase for the Electra team, or as we like to think, the beginning of the next evolution of ElectraPay. We have already started discussions with third party companies for this as well.

Enough?

Frankly speaking, it is not. There is much more work to be done, and this is where we are asking that our entire community come together and join us. We must all start talking about ElectraPay to everyone that will listen while explaining the advantages of using Electra. This can be accomplished by talking to online stores, sharing the Electra website and information with them, and even inviting them to talk to the core team if needed.

Please remember, we are a vast community, which has turned into a family for many, if not most, of us. You all are part of the success of Electra, and we need you to join us in helping Electra achieve the goal of mass adoption!
